A DYNAMIC STUDENT ORGANIZATION

The AsTicCot association is the student organization for the Master’s in Digital Health Sciences. Its goal is to provide students with a platform for exchange and discussion with new and returning students (alumni directory) in a friendly atmosphere. To this end, a system for sharing course materials and past exam papers has been set up. In addition, AsTiCot organizes orientation weekends and social events. For more information,visitwww.astico.frou contactercontact@association-asticot.fr

Investing in the fields of science and digital technology means joining professions with a bright future. Demographic shifts, an aging population, general advances in medicine, the pursuit of safety, the complexity of processes, the development of new molecules, and technological advances in medicine are all driving up healthcare demands. Whether in terms of therapeutic research, the organization of the healthcare system, or individual needs, expectations are high and demands are specific.

A DUAL-DEGREE PROGRAM

A dual-degree program

Building on the complementary nature of engineering programs and the specializations offered in the various master’s tracks, this program is available as a dual degree combining a master’s and an engineering degree. Selected students follow tailored tracks, upon completion of which students from the Institut Mines-Télécom and its partner institutions have the opportunity to earn the Master’s in Digital Health Sciences from the University of Montpellier in addition to their engineering degree, while Master’s students have the opportunity to earn an engineering degree from one of the Institut Mines-Télécom schools in addition to their Master’s degree.

The Montpellier ICT & Health training program is designed for students from a variety of backgrounds, including computer science, electronics, and automation, as well as physics, biology, medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy. Since 2010, more than 200 professionals have been trained, nearly 20% of whom through continuing or lifelong education. Career opportunities are primarily found in technology companies, IT consulting and service firms, and within the healthcare sector: hospitals, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and preventive care organizations.
