Training Organization

The Master’s program is organized into four semesters (S1 through S4) and structured around required or elective course units TU ). Each TU a credit value (ECTS). Each semester is worth 30 ECTS credits. The Master’s degree is awarded upon completion of 120 ECTS credits.

M1: First year of the Master's program

Upcoming UEs:

  • In the first semester: Prerequisites: Physics, Mathematics, Algorithms, Cell Biology and Biological Functions. Experimental Physics; Fundamentals of Radioactivity; Basic Concepts in Health Sciences; Health Systems and Issues; Structural Biochemistry; English; PhyMed Project; One TU : Experimental Physics or Biochemistry Techniques.
  • In the second semester: Radiation-matter interactions / radiation protection; Physics and propagation of radiation; Radiation therapy; Physics of biological systems; Cell physiology; Detection and dosimetry of ionizing radiation; Applications of ICT in healthcare; M1 PhyMed internship; One TU : Image sensors and processing / Neuroprosthetics and medical robotics 1.

M2: Second year of the Master's program
