Overview

Description:
This TU provides an introduction to radiation protection. This course will cover: 

  • Dosimetry – Mr. Bardies, 4 hours
  • Use of ionization chambers for reference measurements (kTph, kpol, krec (kdec)) with exercises. Use of calorimeters for reference measurements with exercises. Radiation Traceability – passive relative dosimeters (TLD, OSL, RPL, alanine, MOSFET, EBT film) – active relative dosimeters (ionization chamber, OSL, MOSFET, diode, diamond, scintillator, matrix); each time I provide some characteristics – J.M. Bordy, 5.5 hours
  • Deterministic and stochastic effects and the implementation of operational radiation protection – J.P. Pouget 7 hours Regulations – F. Petitot 4.5 hours
