Description :

This TU course is a necessary introduction to wave physics. This course will cover :

Reminders of the fundamental laws of mechanics: Newton's laws, concepts of work, power and energy, energy theorems - conservation laws. 1D harmonic oscillator.
Notions of vector analysis, vector operators, electromagnetism and Maxwell's equations.

Objectives :

Master the mathematical tools and physical concepts needed to study the propagation and interaction of electromagnetic and ultrasound waves with matter, such as the human body.
