HAH703P – Introduction to Physics (1 ECTS)

Overview

Description:

This TU a prerequisite for studying wave physics. The following topics will be covered in this course:

  • A review of the fundamental laws of mechanics: Newton’s laws, the concepts of work, power, and energy, energy theorems—laws of conservation. One-dimensional harmonic oscillator.
  • Concepts of vector analysis, vector operators. Electromagnetism and Maxwell's equations.

Objectives:

Master the mathematical tools and physics concepts essential for studying the propagation and interactions of electromagnetic and ultrasonic waves with matter, such as the human body.
