Description:
The mathematics prolegomena aim to review or introduce the mathematical concepts covered in the L3 scientific SPI program that will be used and further developed in the TU the Master's TU Science and Digital Technology for Health.TU to provide students with an overview of the concepts covered and a means of self-assessment on the acquisition of these skills at the start of the program.
Objectives:
Acquisition of skills equivalent to a bachelor's degree in mathematics.

Syllabus:
A. Complex numbers: 7 hours CM
Set of complex numbers, graphical and geometric representation, operations on complex numbers, absolute value, polar form, Moivre's formula, roots of a complex number, Euler's formula, elementary functions of a complex number.
B. Linear algebra: 7 hours of lectures
Matrices, matrix products, determinants, inverse matrices, translation and rotation matrices, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, matrix systems, solving linear systems.
C. Analysis: 7 hours CM
Sequences, convergence, continuous functions, integration of continuous functions, solving differential equations, linear differential equations, some applications to mathematical modeling.
